Wide Receiver
Season 1 - Season 8
A.J. Green, a wide receiver with big-play potential, spent eight seasons in the TFL with four different teams: the Louisiana Oxen (Seasons 1–2, 7–8), Seattle Scorpions (Seasons 3–4), Los Angeles Stars (Season 5), and Cleveland Chaos (Season 6). Though his career had a promising start, Green never fully capitalized on his early momentum.
Drafted in the Season 1 Inaugural Draft by the Oxen (Round 3, Pick 86), Green made an immediate splash, earning a Pro Bowl nod in Season 1. However, that would prove to be his lone Pro Bowl selection, as his role diminished with each passing season. After stints with three other franchises, he returned to the Oxen for a quiet end to his career in Seasons 7 and 8.
Green finished with 36 total touchdowns, averaging 4.5 per season. He never had a season with 10+ touchdowns and only appeared in one playoff run during his eight-year career. While not a consistent standout, Green provided depth and veteran experience to multiple receiving corps.
Though his career didn’t soar beyond his breakout season in Season 1, A.J. Green’s strong start and professional journey across four teams made him a familiar presence during the league’s first few seasons.
