Season 17 marked the beginning of a new chapter in TFL history with the launch of the league's official website. While the league itself remained structurally unchanged, the creation of the website established a permanent home for TFL history and laid the foundation for what would eventually become the league's complete historical archive.
Following the conclusion of Season 16, I created the first version of the official TFL website using Google Sites.
The website was created to organize and preserve the league's growing history, making information more accessible while providing a central location for franchises, records, standings, statistics, awards, and historical content.
Although the website began with only a limited number of pages, it was built with long-term growth in mind. New pages would continue to be added season after season, with the goal of documenting every aspect of the TFL for as long as the project continues.
The launch of the website marked one of the most significant milestones in league history, transforming years of spreadsheets and documents into a centralized historical archive.
Season 17 also expanded the number of Pro Bowl selections from 106 to 114 players.
To better reflect the league's growing talent pool, each conference added:
1 Defensive End (4 → 5)
1 Defensive Tackle (3 → 4)
2 Linebackers (6 → 8)
These additions increased the number of Pro Bowlers to 57 players per conference, resulting in 114 total selections league-wide.
For the first time since the league's inception, no franchise introduced a new primary logo during the offseason.
After several consecutive seasons of logo redesigns and refinements, the TFL entered Season 17 with every franchise retaining its existing visual identity.
