Wide Receiver
Season 1 - Season 15
Chase Claypool enjoyed a 15-season career in the TFL, becoming one of the league’s more well-traveled receivers while making his biggest impact during a strong stretch with the Louisiana Oxen. After his first campaign with the Indianapolis Cyclones in Season 1, Claypool found his footing with the Miami Sharks (Seasons 2–5) before reaching his prime in Louisiana (Seasons 6–9), where he was named Oxen Player of the Year and helped anchor their passing game.
Following his success in Louisiana, Claypool was drafted by the Anchorage Avalanche in the Season 10 Expansion Draft, where he played two seasons before bouncing between four different teams in his final four years: Pittsburgh, Los Angeles, San Antonio, and Tennessee. While he took on more of a complementary role during the back-half of his career, he remained a respected veteran and locker room presence.
Claypool wrapped up his career with 64 touchdowns, averaging over four scores per season. He made three playoff appearances and was part of one division-winning squad. Though never a consistent star, Claypool’s size, versatility, and longevity helped him carve out a solid and dependable legacy across the TFL.
