Running Back
Season 1 - Season 9
Chris Carson, a tough, downhill runner with elite red zone instincts, played nine seasons in the TFL, spending time with the Indianapolis Cyclones (Seasons 1–4) and Washington Liberty (Seasons 5–9). His physical style and consistency made him one of the league’s most reliable backs throughout his career.
He was drafted in the Season 1 Inaugural Draft by the Cyclones (Round 4, Pick 122), where he quickly emerged as the team’s offensive focal point and earned an Indianapolis Cyclones Player of the Year award. In Season 5, he signed with the Washington Liberty and continued to deliver steady production through Season 9.
Over the course of his career, Carson totaled 105 touchdowns—98 rushing and 7 receiving—averaging 11.7 touchdowns per season. He posted 7 seasons with double-digit scores, including one with 15 or more. He had 16 career games with 2+ touchdowns and recorded one 3-touchdown performance.
Carson was selected to 4 Pro Bowls and helped lead his teams to 3 seasons at or above .500 and 2 playoff appearances. His consistent end zone production and durability made him an anchor in every backfield he played in.
A respected veteran whose power running defined his career, Carson left a mark as one of the TFL’s most productive and physically dominant backs of the early seasons.
