Class of Season 21
Wide Receiver
Season 1 - Season 18
DeAndre Hopkins was one of the most gifted and reliable wide receivers of his era—a route technician with elite hands, longevity, and production that spanned nearly two decades. Selected 12th overall in the inaugural Season 1 Draft by the Hawaii Warriors, Hopkins wasted no time establishing himself as a go-to target. He earned two Pro Bowl selections in Hawaii during his first two seasons, showcasing his precise footwork, contested-catch ability, and knack for big plays that made him one of the league’s most feared weapons.
Hopkins’ prime years came with the Tennessee Angels, where, from Seasons 3 through 7, he became the heartbeat of the passing game. He earned three more Pro Bowls and was named Tennessee Angels Player of the Year twice, consistently torching defenses and carrying Tennessee to multiple playoff berths. His connection with Russell Wilson defined the Angels’ offense, and his highlight-reel catches cemented his reputation as a generational talent.
After short but impactful stints with the Detroit Phantoms (where he added another Pro Bowl in Season 8), the New York Howlers, and eventually the Carolina Claws, Hopkins capped off his illustrious career in storybook fashion. In Season 18, he finally captured his first Super Bowl title, helping the Claws secure their championship with veteran leadership and key postseason performances.
Across his 18-season career, Hopkins compiled 163 total touchdowns, including seven 10+ touchdown seasons. A 6x Pro Bowler, 2x All-Pro, and Super Bowl XVIII Champion, DeAndre Hopkins leaves behind a legacy defined by precision, reliability, and greatness—one of the finest receivers the TFL has ever seen.
