Linebacker
Season 1 - Season 9
Jaylon Smith was a dynamic and versatile linebacker whose nine-season career saw him make an impact across five different franchises. Breaking into the league with the Atlanta Pumas in Season 1, he quickly emerged as a defensive playmaker, earning a Pro Bowl nod in just his second season while helping lead Atlanta to an NFC Championship and a Super Bowl II title.
Smith’s journey took him to the Tennessee Angels, where he again reached Pro Bowl form, anchoring the middle of the defense for two seasons. Short stints followed with the Seattle Scorpions and Chicago Bolts, where his leadership and sideline-to-sideline range remained a constant, before finishing his career with the Dallas Warhawks in Season 9.
Over his career, Smith collected two Pro Bowls, an All-Pro selection, and a Super Bowl ring, while helping his teams to three division titles and four playoff appearances. Known for his explosiveness, ability to create turnovers, and knack for big plays—including a fumble return touchdown and a safety—Smith left a legacy as a consistent difference-maker on every defense he joined.
