Leonard Fournette, a powerful and resilient running back, enjoyed a 14-season career in the TFL, playing for six teams: the Carolina Claws (Season 1), New York Howlers (Seasons 2–7), New Jersey Wings (Season 8–9), Kansas City Badgers (Seasons 10–11), Pittsburgh Ironmen (Season 12), and Minnesota Tigers (Seasons 13–14). A physical downhill runner with burst and toughness, Fournette began as a starter and transitioned into a backup role starting in Season 11.

Signed by the Carolina Claws in Season 1, Fournette’s true breakout came with the New York Howlers, where he spent six productive seasons. He later joined the New Jersey Wings in Season 8 and was traded to Kansas City in Season 10 as part of a blockbuster deal involving Aaron Rodgers. His final three seasons were spent in Pittsburgh and Minnesota, primarily in supporting roles.

Fournette finished his career with 88 total touchdowns—84 rushing and 4 receiving—averaging 6.3 per season. He had 3 seasons with double-digit touchdowns, 7 games with multiple scores, and was a consistent goal-line presence during his peak years.

He was selected to 1 Pro Bowl and was a contributor on several strong playoff teams. He played on 7 teams that finished .500 or better, reached the playoffs 6 times, won 4 division titles, and appeared in the AFC Title Game and Super Bowl II.
