Running Back
Season 1 - Season 19
Miles Sanders put together a long and productive 19-season career in the TFL, becoming one of the more durable running backs of his era while contributing to multiple playoff teams across several franchises. Sanders began his career with the Detroit Phantoms, later spending time with the St. Louis Rebels, New York Flames, Kansas City Badgers, Indianapolis Cyclones, Los Angeles Lancers, and Washington Liberty.
Sanders’ best stretch came during his time with the New York Flames from Seasons 6 through 12. During that period, he emerged as a reliable starting running back and earned his lone Pro Bowl selection while also being named New York Flames Player of the Year. His ability to handle a heavy workload while consistently producing in the run game helped New York become one of the stronger teams in the conference during that era.
Across his career, Sanders reached the Super Bowl three times, winning NFC championships in Seasons 8, 13, and 14. Despite those deep playoff runs, he finished his career 0–3 in the Super Bowl, losing once with New York and twice with the Kansas City Badgers. Even without a championship ring, Sanders was a key contributor on teams that consistently contended for conference titles.
Sanders finished his career with 110 rushing touchdowns and 4 receiving touchdowns, giving him 114 total touchdowns over 19 seasons. He recorded four seasons with double-digit touchdowns and helped lead his teams to eight playoff appearances and five division titles.
