Running Back
Season 1 - Season 20
Nick Chubb was one of the most productive running backs of the TFL era, blending consistency, power, and longevity across a remarkable 20-season career. Selected by the Pittsburgh Ironmen with the 44th overall pick in the Season 1 Inaugural Draft, Chubb spent the first 11 seasons of his career in Pittsburgh, where he became the face of the franchise and earned all nine of his Pro Bowl selections. He was traded to the Boston Bones before Season 12, later signed with the Cleveland Chaos in Season 17, and concluded his career with the Tampa Bay Waves in Season 20.
Chubb established himself as one of the league's premier offensive weapons during his time with the Ironmen. He earned two Offensive Player of the Year awards in Seasons 6 and 9, was selected to three All-Pro teams, and was named Pittsburgh Ironmen Player of the Year four times. His dominance during the league's first decade also earned him a place on the TFL Seasons 1–10 All-Decade Team, recognizing him as one of the defining players of his generation.
He finished his career with 214 rushing touchdowns and five receiving touchdowns, totaling 219 career touchdowns, an average of 10.9 touchdowns per season. Chubb produced 15 seasons with at least 10 touchdowns, including four seasons with 15 or more and one spectacular 20-touchdown campaign. He also recorded 35 multi-touchdown games, highlighted by three games with three touchdowns, consistently serving as the focal point of every offense he played in.
Chubb led his teams to 11 winning seasons, 10 playoff appearances, and six division titles. Although postseason success proved elusive early in his career, he finally reached the mountaintop in Season 19, helping lead the Cleveland Chaos to an AFC Championship before capturing Super Bowl XIX, the lone championship of his career. After one final season with Tampa Bay, Chubb retired as one of the greatest and most accomplished running backs in TFL history.
