Rodrigo Blankenship played 12 TFL seasons: Seasons 1–11 and Season 14. He spent his first 10 seasons with the Louisiana Oxen before playing Season 11 with the Los Angeles Stars and returning for one final season with the New York Flames in Season 14.

Blankenship earned 1 Pro Bowl and 1 All-Pro selection. He also became a Super Bowl champion in Season 11, when the Stars won Super Bowl XI and the AFC Championship.

He made 259 field goals over his career, averaging 21.6 field goals per season. His 10-season stretch with Louisiana accounts for the large majority of his career.

Blankenship's teams finished .500 or better twice and made the playoffs twice. He won one division title and went 1–0 in both the AFC Championship Game and Super Bowl.
