Sony Michel, a versatile and steady presence in the TFL backfield, enjoyed an 11-season career spanning five franchises: the Los Angeles Stars (Season 1), Washington Liberty (Seasons 2–4), Chicago Bolts (Season 5), Alabama Razorbacks (Seasons 6–10), and New York Flames (Season 11). Though often used in a committee approach, Michel served as the primary starter during a strong three-season run from Seasons 7–9.

Michel entered the league, signing with the Los Angeles Stars in Season 1 before quickly landing with Washington in Season 2. He spent three seasons with the Liberty in a rotational role before a single-season stop in Chicago and then Alabama, where he spent the bulk of his career.
