Todd Gurley II, a dynamic and bruising running back, carved out an 8-season career in the TFL, playing for five different franchises: the Carolina Claws (Seasons 1–2), Baltimore Gunners (Seasons 3–4), Indianapolis Cyclones (Season 5), Minnesota Tigers (Seasons 6–7), and Dallas Warhawks (Season 8). Gurley made an immediate impact as a starter early in his career before transitioning into a backup role for his final four seasons.

He was selected in the Season 1 Inaugural Draft by the Carolina Claws, taken in Round 4 with the 109th overall pick. After two seasons in Carolina, Gurley was signed by the Baltimore Gunners in Season 3 and re-signed in Season 4.
